I spent a year in Viet Nam and the soldiers from that era made me sick. What a bunch of crybabys. Of course the reporters always found a malcontent lowlife to stick their microphone in front of.

The young people in todays military have resurected my pride in the US military. I know the reporters are still trying their best to make the military look bad, but almost to a man the soldiers who make it on the news today are positive and upbeat. I suppose the all volunteer military has a lot to do with it, and I'll bet they are trained on how to react to scumbag reporters.

What comes through clearest is what heros we can still muster up in the good old US of A. When these youngsters sign up they know where they are going, and they do it anyway. They truely are the very best that our country has today, and we all need to do our best to support them in whatever they do. I can't wait until these kids start showing up running for public office. If were smart enough to elect them, they'll resurect our country like they resurected our military.
