The hard plastic magnifying cover for the Fl-8 and Fl-18?

I have one but don't use it because it causes distortion towards the outside of the dial. It limits the viewing angle quite a bit so you have to position the unit to be looking straight at to get no distortion.

Heavy duty Saran Wrap and a rubber band......2 layers thick.....cheap and easily replaced if damaged.

Love plugging this site, but check out sportsmensdirect.com. They have a lens cover that is flat and cuts out the glare. You'll find it under fishing>ice fishing>sonic ice hopper system. $9.99 can't go wrong.

I've used one for a lot of years. It works good to keep snow away. No complaints.

I have one on my FL18 and love it.
Keeps the snow and rain out, and I have never noticed a distortion problem.
It is also a magnifier, which is a big plus for me.

Ive got the fl18 also, and use it.  if it gets dirty or a smudge it cleans really easy.  Plus I found one on the lake one day as well, so I have a back up.....
