Any tips on how to preserve dead bait....currently have them in a freezer bag but i was wondering if there were any tips to save them for next year....monster suckers are just too expensive to toss, any help would be great

Freezing or salting is the most common and best home methods for preserving bait. If salting is used then you have to re-hydrate your bait in fresh water for a few hours before use and adding a few drops of cod liver oil helps improve the scent.
