has anyone gone by to see if wordens or chapman ponds have frozen over again?

Dont go by that, Barbers is a good clip deeper. Ive driven to wordens many years and been surprised to see it locked when smaller ponds werent. unless someone gives an eyes on report I will try to get by there on thurs.

Wordens is completly iced over... walked out about 15 feet from the boat ramp this afternoon on about 1.5-2" of ice. There was also a guy fishing Barber's this afternoon... don't know the thickness.

I saw that guy on barbers he was in ths shaded area left of the boat ramp  ducks were swiming there in the middle yesterday

Last nite's 11:00pm news they said a dog had to be rescued off Barbers pond that had gone thru the ice. The local F.D. did a full blown ice rescue and got the dog but it later died. If a 70lb. dog went thru I'm pretty sure the ice won't keep my 275lb. ass dry :o
