HT, not sure if your dealer has them or not. I would guess not since they put bungees on them but they have special bungees just for chains on wheelers. I think my buddy paid like $10 for the pair. they are like a star pattern. Nice ride too!!

Any walkers today? How deep is the snow on south shore.... got a mile minimum walk if I want to go tomorrow

Walked out to the channel from muskrat today. It wasn't bad. Snow has drifted and started to crust a little bit in spots. Also a little slush on the way in. All in all, definitely not too bad.
I never could read no road map,
I don't know what the weather might do.
But hear that witch wind whining,
and see that dog star shinin',
I got a feeling there's no time to lose,
No time to lose!

That V at 12:00 and another at 4:00 shows they are too long. Should be a nice even circle.. Not saying they wont stay on but if you shorten them up 2 or 3 lengths they will stay put.. A lot easier working on them in a garage when your hands are warm..  Surprised the dealer let the machine go out the door like that..
well holly crap ??? everybody keeps picking on those chains. like i said the dealer put them on not me. and if they come flying off and rip the fenders off well that will be there problem not mine. they got 10 more of those machines brand new in crates so i can get a new one every week until they get it right. bungee cords are a fashion statement  ::)

Leaving now for my first trip to Oneida!! I was told to look for a shinny new red polaris with chains on the back tires as that's where the fish would be biting. Ht nice rig! You should bring a white bed sheet to cover her up so you don't give up your hot bite!

Don't think you'll have too many problems with Oneida 'eyes and a 5 inch hole.  It's easier with a bigger hole but I dare say 99% of the 'eyes you'll catch will fit.  Bigger problem is hooking them first!  Good luck.

HT, have at it and have fun. The only thing you did wrong was not buying it before.  I`m sure you will love it..

They should but you will need to be easy with them   It will be tight! I use a six in auger and have learned to guide them trough the hole.  Lost a lot until I learned the trick!

Thanks to all you guys for the info. Went out of apps this am. Saw the"rokon"
Was happy for that. Lots of wheelers out. Did a 3 mile loop . Got an ugly, and
Dumped one " something " at the hole. Just wanted to thank you guys for the
Info, never fished the " north " before. Definitely will again.

Pretty sure you saw me out there, the red/white bike, its a Big Wheel not a Rokon....the Rokon is two wheel drive and unstoppable mine is just a dirt bike with atv tires. Had a tough time moving yesterday but we got where we wanted to go. My Son and I even biffed it once while traveling at high speed in second gear, front tire came out from under us. Good thing the snow is snow and the ice is slick.

I tried to get a pic of the sunrise yesterday, didn't come out very well. I forgot to use the landscape mode on camera, missed a great opportunity. Nice walleye!

Nice fishin with you pooch, well had strep throat and bronchitus since I walked off the ice last week, I can't win this winter I guess, so went down too whites lumber and bought one of those mr buddy heaters all you guys use, figured if I had heat in my shanty I could just as easily be sick in my shanty as here at the house... was hoping too just sit on a hole all day and grab whatever swam bye, but pins pins and more pins made me move 7 times till noon til I found a hole I could just sit on...  I didn't do very well but better than law order marathons, got 19 eyes, 6 just short and only 1 keeper eye ... dumped 2, rest were pins... 5 good perch, with some dumped perch as well so it was a fun hole with atleast some action all afternoon, my friends with me did a little better than I did, but nothing crazy, all the easy fish are gone now unless you land on them, gonna work for em from here on out I think.
