As of rite now we got at least 8 incches and still snowing hard suppoe to get 12 inches total today and its gonna snow all weekend ...but...ill be on otisco for them crappies

We ended up with 7 1/2" of snow. getting pretty tired of it. Hey big guy. So your going to be at your usual spot this weekend? mabe I can talk my buddies into doing the lake one more time.

No bigal im fishing in 5 fow for my fish seems to be the ticket site fishing ..its up to u. If u wanna make the trip crappues are there u just need the weapin to catch them the gills are pretty nice to ....ill call u bigal...

Fished yesterday with bigal and my buddy dave..we all got some crappies and bluegills..not a bad day out ..finally nice to meet you bigal..alot a fun yesterday next time keep the the shiners under you ok buddy...still a ton of ice....

...bigal caught so many fish today he didnt know what to do with himself...

No rats yet earlier in the season i had a few pop up in my hole look around and take off..yea its time the fish have turned back on i been doing very well on crappies and big gills..probably gonna go out wednesday again..there is a secret weapon i been using for crappies and the big gills also like it.the gills are really nice and so are the crappies

...ended up with this. 16 crappies n some slab gills they were just under the ice i mean there backs were almost touching the ice..i missed alot hard to set the hook

How much ice is down by the dam still? Thinking of hitting it this weekend if the conditions are favorable. Seems the fish are in pretty shallow right now too.

The gills look small next to the crappies by all means there not huge but nice and fat..

Fished thursday with my buddy Dave ..as i was walking out i met lipripper315..he wasnt having any luck so i took him under my ice wings gave him some pointer..his first yr ice fishing..anyways i ended up with 18 crappies my buddy Dave ended up with 16 crappies ..lipripper315 had a nice pile going when i left..thanks to lipripper i still have auger i walked off the ice and forgot it..

..my biggest was 12-1/2 inches.Daves biggest was a 14 inch hog..gonna have to wait to see what lipripper315 ended up with.ill post a few pics later..thanks again lipripper for calling me about my auger...oohhhh very slippery out there better wear cleats..a ton a ice still..20 inches or more..i lost some slab crappies also broke my line 4 times must of cut on bottom of ice..ill be back out there monday to try my luck again...

Ended up sticking through the rain till 7. Finished with 21 crappie, 8gill and a perch. Nice meeting big guy and his buddy, real nice guys. I'm going again tomorrow, I might ice skate out to my hole haha. I'll update conditions and post pics when I figure out how

Fished today w my buddy, both got some nice crappie and gills. My friend went through the ice right near shore on the way back. He must've found a soft spot cause I have a good 50lbs on him haha. Good thing it was on the way off the ice, wet up to his knee

theirs a couple runoff tubes next to guardrail their and ice is always thin( if not open) next to them...just gotta watch where u go on n off this time of yr

Grew up on otisco but havent ice fished it in years, went for first time in awhile on saturday after a bust on bigbay. Moved a few times to no avail. Caught a couple small gills. Talked to a couple guys out there who were doing ok. Gave them the half dozen we had from bigbay to add to their pail. You guys on here?

Yea shimano guy that was me and bigal. I'm the younger one. Thanks again, nice meeting you. I think the shore is still good my buddy must've found a soft spot where water was running in. Stay where the sleds have been getting dragged on and off and you should be fine

No problem guys, nice meeting you as well. Glad you guys got into them. My buddy had to take off or prob would have stuck it out and poked around till dark. Did you guys see the deer stuck on ice by narrows. He made it halfway then turned around and went down. Not sure if he made it off, coyote food im sure if he didnt.
