   I am gonna head out.. Sunday/Monday am Curious of Ice conditions...This will be last outing..Any body got any news on the ice on any of these lakes..???? :tipup: :tipup: :tipup:

I was up to Portage last weekend and the ice was very good. I don't think there will be any problem there for another couple weeks. I have fished on Portage when the lake I live on was open, and I still have 12-14" here today.

Just got home from Higgins. Still 10-12" everywhere I was...Western shore near Detroit Pt.

Plenty of machines and some guys still drivin' cars and trucks out there.

Fadin' purty quick but it'll hold for a bit.
