Ok guys....Heres the plan...

PikeKing lined up a house for rent 1 mile from both Pontoosuc and Onata...sleeps 13 and parking for 13 trucks....

The options are Friday and Saturday night....either Jan 16,17 or Jan 23,24....The later date is probably better for sure ice...

The cost is $90 per person for both nights and $19 will be refunded if the place is not wrecked...a pretty good deal...

The limit is 13 people although anyone can join us for the day of course....some are interested in sleeping on the ice and if that is the case, let me know so that we can accept others above the 13 to stay in the house..

The following is a list of people already interested, but not totally committed...please let me know if you are committed and I will adjust the list....

Thats 12...with 9 paid....so we can take 1 more at this point unless someone above cannot make it...and even more cause I have a rollaway cot if needed

I will accept new people in order of their post on this thread...but the money talks...so I will need the 90 bucks sent to my address to lock it up.....PM me for my address.....Its definately a go, and I will be sending the $250 deposit this week and coordinating with the owner....

Lets have some fun and get the list complete.....

Use this thread to banter about which date works best. PikeKing and I will make the final date decision....and then post it here....

It's a long way off, I'm kind of in a state of flux job wise these days and if it snows I have to be here pushing it around but..............How can I say no.

I would vote for the earlier date (I'm certain there will be ice up there by mid Jan.) but I will defer to the group.

Not familiar with how soon it ices up out there but I would assume the safe bet is the later date...23,24...

I can't commit to the house, so i'll give up my slot if someone else can make a solid commitment.

I will make plans to visit you guys 1 of the 2 days, i'll pm for some phone numbers so i can arrange to meet you on the right lake/location. I will try to drag 1kingsalmon and Russell with me as well.

If you haven't filled the house as we get closer, i'll see what i can do.

Karl, I have a few other guys that are going to fish with us be not sleep in the house. I was thinking we could set up some kind of meal on the ice or shore.

Nice to see people are going to come out and fish with us.

Karl, What do you think about setting up a big lunch for the shore or ice for one of the days or both.

Slots are almost gone guys, lets get you signed up.

If there are no more slots left there are some small motels right in the area that I'm sure will have openings. Don't give up if you see the 13 slots filled, we can still get you a room or something.

i can't make any definite plans now, my father had cardiac arrest 10 days ago and has just entered re-hab. hopefully home life will return to normal by then. just can't commit at this time. i haven't even had time to start tilt build or brew/drink beer....i think i'm sober?

i may look for B&B/ hotel nearby if everything goes well
