Buffalo Bay
« on: Jan 02, 2009, 10:49 AM »
Thinking of heading out towards buffalo - anyone know how the fishing is out there - i have never been there before but have heard that you can catch some nice fish out on the sandbars.
If anyone could let me know how the ice is and how the fishing is much appreciated

What depth are people fishing in out there?

Cheers

Caught about 12 eyes yesterday and today, nothing big. As well we caught 2 large Pike. Road is non existant, and after the foot and a half of snow that fell last night I think it is done probably for good now.

Took us 4 hours to get out there >:( with 5 vehicles. Had a hard working day with shoveling, pushing and pulling in 2 feet of snow!!!

I concur 110% with WALER...WALER and I were introduced on the ice yesterday in a DISASTER of a day getting out....Snowmobile or quad with tracks only now....

WALER, it was a pleasure meeting up with you....let's hope that the next time is more about Fishing than Shoveling and towing.
