when does the annual ice tourney start and were can i sign up?

Sign-up usually occurs from the middle of December until the end of December.  The 1st of January is the beginning of the tourney.  All you need to do is sign up for the Iceshanty tourney and inform everyone you're from NY (in your avatar...location).  No additional sign-up is required...all fish caught and posted by you is credited to NY.
