New equipment -- Green submersible lights

Has anybody tried one of these lights before? Softwater or, better yet, hardwater? Outside of faulty equipment on occassion, the feedback seems pretty positive. Also, with Hardwater, it seems it could be effective on an overcast day (not just nighttime).
Just considering new gear for this upcoming season and came across these.
Any feedback out there?
Thanks.
