Is the date confirmed?  the 15th?  Cranberry is fine however i do agree that Assunpink would be great for a get together especially for the central jersey guys....we get tired of making the drive all the time  :)

Maybe we can do a get together at Assunpink if the cold weather holds.... Thoughts?

The date is not in stone it can be a week or three later or that date . It's all on the ice god's. Let me say the ice has to be no less then 7 good inches. Your going to have a lot of big guy's out there & I'm one of them HA HA. For a group picture we need a lot of ice  ;D

the 15th isnt good but any lake works for me commited to a boy scout klondyke derby if the date changes count me in

First rule of any get together:

1) Tie a rope on a fat guy and send him out to check the ice.

Second rule of a get together:

2) Bring lots of stuff to eat. ( What do you think those fat guys show up for? Cocktail weenies, what else. )

sorry doug cant make that date if you do a 2nd one ill definately have a tray big trips like a klondyke require lots of adults to run events so the boys have a great weekend

Official Count :

Cranberry  =  23

Assunpink  =  03


I guess it's Cranberry. With this warm spell I don't think Assunpink would recover soon anyhow.

To be safe I'm changing the "tentative" date to Sat Jan 22nd. That will give us some time for the ice to recover from this warm front.
Shawn will keep tabs on the ice at Cranberry and if anything changes we will have an alternative date in the "main" get together post.
