i was wondering do waleyes school together like blue gills do

Id say most of the time they don't, maybe 2 or 3 max in a school especially in shallower water. On deep lakes where walleyes suspend looking for baitfish they school up a lot more, those walleyes are a lot harder to find though and a flasher is a must.
