The St.Croix premier ice rods. Those blue rods are awesome and now discontinued. I usually buy all the medium and medium heavies I come across for lakers and big 'eyes.
I second the Frabil Ultra Lite and the Ice Lightening Rods. I will also add the Coleman Focus 5 heater..best heater ever for ice fishing that I’ve found. Funny I’m still using all of those.
Dr I have a 1 man stealth ,I admit I’m a heat sucker so I’ll burn 1 tank Tops , I carry 2 , in my quilted 1 man I did burn less as it held the heat much betterHope this is of some help Other nice thing about the 5 is if it gets wet it will always light
Dr , I get over 6 hrs per tank
Shappell DX 3000 WITH THE FULL LENGTH WINDOWS!
Dr. I’m thinking 5 hours or more if using on low. I got one a few years ago with the auto light, love that thing. I rarely take more than two tanks.
Diesel takes less refining-true. Diesel also has more energy in it then unleaded fuel. So your mileage is better. Hence why heavy machinery & large trucks use diesel for pulling power. Fuel road taxes for trucks shipping stuff to maintain roads from the damage the heavy payloads due adds to the cost of diesel. Just look at the price of ruby red fuel (non highway) vs road diesel. Ruby red is for machinery not ran on roads. Like farm equipment, and construction job machines. Diesel is to unleaded fuel is like unleaded fuel to ethanol for energy contained in a gallon. All are great products, only one doesn’t hurt the environment.
Pflueger Micro 6720 reel.
I have an old Abu Garcia Cardinal small spinning reel where the body, stem, and everything on it is made out of metal. Whish I could find one like it again.
The first Cardinal spinning reels, all the rage back in the 60s. Some even had the Zebco brand on 'em but were made by ABU. All were a dark green with a pale green spool shroud IIRC with a rear drag. Dad had three I think. Now they're mine. Used to be able to buy 'em at the Holiday gas stations (world's first c-stores). Lemme see if I can find 'em.
