Snow is gonna put a stop to ice production and until the sleds make trails it's gonna be a nightmare for the atvs ...it's never easy, but always enjoyable!!!!

Anyone planning to get out in the next day or two? Looking to get out there this week but have never fished out of hamburg or know the trail.

Has there been any reports how the ice is off the Catt?  I know last winter people were walking out from there.

I'm heading out weds with the sled, haven't been out yet this year so the trail markers would be a serious help, anyone else planning on weds?

Well i just drove down to hamburg beach. Bad news is they have the gates closed so you can go anywhere other then the gym. Good news is if the trail markers were knocked down they are all back up as far as i can see. An orange flag at start of beach and christmas trees as far as i can see. So thank you to whoever took the time to put the trail markers back up.

the worst part of whole ordeal is that whoever knocked down markers is that they ALSO knocked down AMERICAN FLAG and no regret abut it and just threw on ice.   SCUMBAGS!@!!!!!!!!

Unless they plan on opening it this weekend then I would say no. The gates at both ends were closed with big signs on them that say closed! The top driveway that goes to the front of the gym was still open though but that was it. Idk what to say or think about it?? Anyone else have any info?

Prolly the hit were taking from the first guy getting lost and calling in the rescue squad.  If a truck went out sun (i was not there) I can see them getting nervous.  I pay for hamburg resident sticker to access and launch but I have not read the fine print. I have a contact if its really closed I can check what the deal is.

It was FUN as always fellas. Good fishing with BigFish and Jackie. THANKS for the ride. PLEASURE meeting Aquaman too. I'm still trying to figure out why someone would have the balls to destroy and knock down the trail markers. Appreciate the hard work done by Whiskey Mike and crew for making/marking the trail. Its GREATLY appreciated

Without passing early judgement could the markers have been knocked over from the wind and the storm Sunday and Sunday night?

The gates were closed today because of a situation they had plowing the lots..They werent going to open the gates until they got salt on the hill after the gate.  Too many people have slid down the hill into the wall when they dont plow it or it is icy and not salted.    Itll be open.

No one can appreciate what others do. Someone probably got greedy, found a hot spot and didnt want others to come out. Cant wait to get out there this week once the gate reopens

What idiots there is plenty of perch. Hopefully the quad can make it out there sunday we did get a lot of snow today. Just wondering the water depth? Don`t feel like carrying my old aquaview out if it`s over 50 foot.

Snow too deep at Hamburg for a wheeler.  Gate is open but snow too deep to get out past the first couple hundred yards.  Have to wait until a sled or 2 blazes a trail..Not a sole on the ice this morning from Hamburg. Gonna try again this weekend but will be down everyday checking it out.
And it looked so good today out there!!! >:(

Oh no..the problem is at the beach + first hundred yards. A plow couldnt get through or over the hills etc.  The drifts have developed on and around the hills and shoves.  A plow would be impossible.

Anyone in the Hamburg Snowmobile Club? We should get an agreement with them send 20 sleds out, they would have a blast out there.

A couple sleds just left a while ago off the beach and blazed first trail in the new snow,,,,I already unpacked truck etc. Gonna go walk out on it at lunch and see if a wheeler could make it on the tracks.
