Saginaw ice
« on: Feb 13, 2007, 09:24 PM »
Talked to my buddy who seen his friends that went out off of Erikson Rd.  They had four wheeler and one snowmobile, and the snowmobile went through the ice in 14' of water, had a buddy on shore come out with his snowmobile and take the guy in, faster then a four wheeler. They spent the rest of the day getting the snowmobile out. They said the area that the snowmobile went through was just skimed over, the ice was good right up to it.
They said that's it no more for them!

all the reports say the ice is super dooper spotty. 14 inches in some spots ...2 in others...nobody with a brain is getting out more then a mile or two .
