man, the lakers did not want to hit anything today. I was on the ice at PK by 6:30 and got off at 4pm. Early morning I had one chaser, and he never hit it. Stayed in 120ft of water. I have just about had it fishing for lakers.
welcome to my world as a newer ice fisherman in persuit of lake trout without a vex.
I am hoping to try this weekend and try my new Marcum LX-7. No idea how it works, and never went for Lakers. Who knows how it will turn out!!
out of vets this am going after the legendary golden trout. just want to have a short talk with him.I'll post pic later.
haven't heard of it being caught again hopefully tomorrow is the day again on the end of my line

same here. I use a Garmin echo 200. It shows my jig, fish and chasers, but its not a vex, and being as ice fishing is just something to do for me to get to the next open water season, I can't bring myself to spend the money needed to get a Vex....
Wondering how you like that Garmin echo 200?
Wow! That perch is a Man Eater! Nice haul, congrats! MK
