Redhouse / Quaker Lakes
« on: Jan 27, 2014, 03:20 PM »
Looking for any info on these 2 lakes. We are going to camp at Allegany State Park in Feb. and want to try them out. I have fished them in the spring and summer but never winter. Any current info would be appreciated. Also would be thankful for any tips or tricks. It is going to be me, my wife, son and his girlfriend so I would like to get on any type of fish just so they don't get bored and realize how cold it is  ;D. Thanks in advance for any help.

I see that you are a regular so it is probably best that you access "Small Water/Cattaraugus" on Reports and Conditions.  You only need to read the last 2 pages of posts and will get a fairly accurate idea of what to expect. Good luck.  The scenery at Quaker is stunning but the fishing is slow.

Thanks, I will do that. I looked under Allegany Co. small waters but didn't think to try Cat. co.
