i know its all in good fun i also know i probably anoy some people but what the hell im bored and im really into ice fishing and i cant always get out so i might as well enjoy the exploits of others and i give people with nothing else to talk about a reason to post which gives me a reason to reply its a vicious circle when im off disability everyone will wonder where i am well probably not ill still find time for you all

but not to hijack this post MFF is a good thing

yea ill prob join when open water comes but for now its ice fishing baby..i like ice fishing better than regular fishing

Already a member. I have an excellent post in the picture thread titled "TFB's Trout of Fame" The first thread is under construction but will be fixed. Slipbob also has his whole last year's walleye chronicles, which are a good read. Not to mention everyone else's threads with their pictures, and all of the information on there about how to catch fish in open water!

I joined MFF first, then found out about Ice Shanty, and joined here. Since I get about 8 months of open water and a little over 4 months of ice, I have the best of both worlds.

Yup that is a great site. Not quite as many members as the shanty YET! A lot of great information and fishing reports available. Also in the fall for hunting is http://www.myhuntingforum.com/

Thats one of the first things I did after a day or 2 on this site. I still havent used the site but as soon as the ice leave, I will be dropping the icejunky for the bassjunky.

i too have noticed a steady increase in the traffic at MFF. here in maine the ice fishing season ends april 1st regardless of ice conditions so very soon i will be doing the meltdown dance but until then im still loving the hardwater !
