Do the leaves of trees stay greener, in the autumn, does the colour of the sun, turn crimson white? Does a shadow come between us, in the winter?

I know its a goofy looking hat, but its the warmest hat on the planet  ;D If you ever try one on you'll never take it off! And no doubt a whole rabbit is better luck than a little foot. Have you still been icing all those lakers camo? Looks like alot of fun, my problem is just like when I'm hunting, I always want to be in five different locations at the same time......wish I could just add water and spawn five of me  :)

Thanks alot for all the nice feedback everyone, they sure were fun to catch

I took a guy from work and his 7yr old son fishing for the first time. I set his son up with my aqua-vu and in a nice weed bed for some sight fishing. He caught some bluegills and perch and a nice bass, he was kicking his feet and hyper-ventilating reeling the fish in. His dad said he talked about it all weekend and wanted to take his fishing pole to school today. It was a fun experience for me since I dont have kids, now I know what its like to " take a kid fishing"  :)

I think you can see the happiness in his face  ;D

Way to go Ozzy...that young fella isn't about to give up on fishing any time soon and the young ones are the future of the sport.

Last weekend we fished Port Henry on Lake Champlain, we caught a bunch of smelt jigging but we were also fishing for the biggest fish in the lake, Champ! For those of you that dont know about Champ he is sort of like the lochness monster and he lives in the waters of lake champlain. We set one tip-up out in hopes of catching the beast. The lure consisting of a coors light silver bullet can with a big treble hook and a spinner blade made out of a new york license plate. I would have chose a heineken lure but the locals said he prefers coors  ;D
We didnt get any flags but maybe next weekend, after all, if we caught him I guess he wouldnt be a legend anymore!

That's awesome.  One heck of a tip-up too. Sounds like a good time nonethless, I wish my local lake had a champ.... :D What's the old saying "Heros are remembered, but legends never die"?

Thanks guys for all the kind words  :)  I went out last weekend and had a great time fishing, caught many panfish, pike and bass so here's some pics.

Heres a up close and personal pic of a pike from the screen of my aqua-vu I took with my digital, two of them came in at the same time cruisin the weed bed looking for some grub  ;D

Heres my dad with a nice pike

Nice group of pannies with one lunker " Bull Gill " on the right, we caught a bunch more but only kept enough for a meal

Last but not least right as the sun was going down to end the day I had a " Drive By " from a toothy critter with a nasty set of chompers, just look at what he did to my poor golden shiner  ;D

I'm hoping we can still get out next weekend, its been getting warm around here, looks like we'll be heading north chasing colder temps and better ice  ;)

I caught this perch and it had this white gooey stuff on both sides of its tail section, was wondering if anyone had any knowledge as to what it might be? I thought it might be an old wound from a northern attack healing up  ???

Went to Lake George saturday with a bunch of guys from the site, had a great time fishing for lakers, here's some of the pics

Here's Robb761 with a real nice 29"

and a couple group photos, was a beautiful day out there, my last day on the ice for the season, for anyone who still wants to go out there is still about 17" of solid ice with about 4" of soft white ice developing on the top, we drove the quads right out there and could have taken the trucks on if we wanted to. We launched at vet's park.

It was nice meeting more people from the site, all a great bunch of guys.

goodluck to everyone this summer
