Ice fishing walleys - cant use live bait. What to use?

Ice fishing on a federal military base and they don't allow live bait to be used.    Any suggestions either on a jig pole or what can be used on a tip up?  THANKS!!

Jigging raps or jig heads and swim baits.  Both work well

I would Jig. Pk spoons and flutter fish or chubby darters

x2 on the eyeballs. I save lots of eyeballs when I'm cleaning fish. Just a tip walleye eyes work the best with perch a close second! I even thrown them in Kosher salt to make them stay on the hook better (makes them leathery).

I use blade baits without bait and catch eyes.

#7 jigging rapala..it's all I use.. I used to tip with a minnow head but the last few years I stopped tipping it and just fish it bare... Have caught just as many if not more fish.. It's the action that gets them to Inhale it

After reading your post the other day, I just cleaned 4 eyes and kept the eyeballs for my next outing to try. Thanks for the suggestion. Cheers,Chris

Listen to what he said too. I have read countless times guys recommending the #7 jigging rap. Also the buckshot spoons. N you could throw on a salted minnow head if ya wanted

All great advice so far, personally this years go to's for me have been Live Target Golden Shiner with a salted minnow head on the belly treble hook (you could use Northlands version as well as it's a little cheaper) and PK spoons tipped with half a salted shiner.  Quite a few trophy ones with that combo this year  .
