Really?  Nothing to service except change the oil once a year. If it breaks it usually ain't worth fixing-

I bought a yamaha Knock off inverter generator a few years ago. It works great but definately not as quiet as the Honda. If noise is a factor, you cant beat or come close to the Honda inverter generators. Noise on mine is still tolerable and due to the price I would buy mine again over the Honda.
