]]took over 2 hours to get 20 traps in.lol had over 50 flags and 25 fish heres some pics ... think ill try the slide trebel hook system lost alot of fish

On sunday we had 14 inches on sabbattus mrangler. I noticed you were from the midwest what part?? I also live in Brunswick. Let me know if you ever want to get out fishing.

it's junk if it doesn't work for you! I use circles and I bairly ever miss pike with those. Marsh isn't so lucky. If you have faith in the quick strike rig it will work for you.

I agree. I like quick strikes but hate cirlce hooks for pike cause I miss fish. Of course circle hooks work, but I had bad luck with them, so I use single hooks or quick strike. I think it's whatever you have confidence in. Sort of like the steel vs. mono debate. It's all what you like and what you have success with.

We came out from MI and WI. Always looking for someone to fish with. Once the ice forms, not too many folks want to brave it.

Quick strike rigs are legal in Maine - 1 bait per line, but that bait can have 2 hooks in it. i asked a warden on sunday, he said only one hook didn't matter if they are in the same bait or not.
