Zimmy Long conditions

Just wondered if anyone has been to Long Lake across from Baldwin Lake or any other lakes in the Edwardsburg/Cassapolis area? If so how's the ice?

Wish I could help you. All I heard there were foot tracks heading out on Long about 20 ft and they turned around and came back.
Fisherman's Prayer
I pray that I may live to fish
          Until my dying day.
And when it comes to my last cast,
       I then most humbly pray:
When in the Lord's great landing net
           And peacefully asleep,
That in His mercy I be Judged
              BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.

Went past Stone lake today and it still has places that look punky and there was nobody fishing; which tells me the ice is no good.

Talked to a guy yesterday who lives on the lake.  Someone walked out to drill a hole and turned back around.  Guy I know went out to check thickness of the hole and said it was 1.5 inches of ice with 2-3 inches of snow/slush on top.  Nobody has been fishing it.  Hope this helps.
