I can only speak for myself.  I managed 1 small white bass...that's it!  Some of the guys I was fishing around caught a few crappie.  I did not see a walleye caught but maybe someone did.  I left at 1130am for Winona Lake.  Muskeyman and Tony showed up and we caught close to 60 gills...6 to 9 inches.  Hopefully Swedish and the other guys caught some!

Well we took off at noon with Brawlers bunch, and Indybooger and headed to Bass Lake,Made the mile hike out to the weed bed,I found the outside edge of it and boom, right off the bat,a 9" walleye,I said to Chad and Smitty, its only 5 oclock, they might take off,you wanna stay till 8,they said sure,so we stayed till 8 tonight,we fished our hinnies off,I ended up gettin 4 walleyes and one was a keeper,he measured 14-1/4",a great day, heres a couple pics from today

 F.Y.I.
Guys,I have fished Pike Lake a ton during open water season, and did my best at night for walleye and
white bass. Also early spring is a good walleye bite you can catch them in the shallows.Since 1996 when
the DNR finally put a size limit on walleye (should have been done years ago)the fishing has gotten somewhat
better. Before that size limit went into effect I seen people taking walleye home slightly larger than a good
size perch, what a shame. For me,I love to catch walleye with some size to it.I did hear of a fishman catching a
8 lb. plus out of there,on a deep diving shad rap.
I will fish it this winter, and maybe night time will be the ticket ????
What was the ice like ????????? Thanks...   jhc

I caught 2 crappie at pike lake and 4 crappie and a bluegill at bass.  We stayed until 9pm and the fish never did turn on.  The ice was 6-8.

Willie,I had a great time today, the driving was a little over whelming,Smitty ended up taking over in Marion,as I was starting to fall asleep at the wheel, when that keeper came thru the hole it made it all worth while,I stay in contact with you and we'll get back out,

Had a good time. Ended up with 3 white bass and a crappie. I may try to go back up when I can stay longer and maybe try some night fishing.

Guys lets get this thread back on track. I've deleted all posts that hijacked this thread. Lets get along. As far as Jimmy is concerned,he is one of the best fishermen I've fished with.  Ron
