i stoped by the boat ramp about 10 oclock last night and a couple of guys just came off said they had about a dozen decent crappies all on minnows 6 foot deep.They also said there was between 5-7 inches of ice.Drove around could see a couple guys out where the power lines cross,seen noone on loomis ,and nobody on flint.

I didn't either. I was just getting dinks, and tossing them back.
Of course right before I needed to leave I laid into that one. Couldn't stay any longer though, I was already on my 4th call to the wife aying I was going to stay a little longer.

I'm going to try to get out there, but I have to go do that "work" thing tomorrow.
Hopefully I can get off early if all is quiet.
The van is loaded with my gear. The only thing  I may need is bait, but that won't take long.
How long are you planning on being out?
