Up in the 'Burg

After sitting home last weekend without being able to fish the derby...we made some traps together and planned our trip 2 1/2 hours north in search of Cusk.
Got up here yesterday, headed out to put down
some Cusk traps. It was a blizzard in 25 mph wind...we are walkers...but we toughed it out...snow is deep up here, let me tell ya.
Got up early headed out to check the traps...and we crushed em today...kind of cool being our first time going for these. Just made chowder at camp & was it great. Thanks to the guys 👍 who recommended 1st lake and to Jiggin's videos on YT. Great memories watching the boy pull out some nice Cusk!

Nicely done. Snow is deep this year up there. Respect to you walkers and nice fish!
