i only know of a couple places to get on that lake without getting a fine. one place is at tudhope park, and airport road. there is pike and perch, there has been reports of a couple walleye and white fish pulled out but very few and far in between.

Airport Road works, just pay attention to the sings! If the spots closest to the water are full, go across the intersection and park. It's much cheaper to walk then to get a ticket for being lazy.  Couchiching was good to us last weekend.

GOOD LUCK!

if you go out from aiport road get there early to park near the lake. from what i have seen people just been walking 10-15 min out on the ice. i wish i could tell how the ice is. i have seen more people go out from tudhope park and there is lots of parking.

when i went there i just walked towards the other portable huts and set up about 200' from them which was off the point when ya walk out into about 10-15' of water.
