Mormon Hill?

Taking my son out for the first time this week and was wondering how the fishing has been out at mormon hill? wanting to go out there cause i've got a 3 man and its a bear to pull by myself but dont want to take the boy out without it(hes only 5). Just want to catch fish, dinks dont matter to the little guys ya know!! Well thanks for any tips i've taken a week off since I hit it so hard when it opened.

bait shop said the mormon hill area is very shallow and murky with the water down so much.....i think many of the fish that would normally be there are up front...steve...fish the weeds just off the first island out front of hq
