Deadly serious, my hair is on the line...Larry (Lingrus) was messing with me on my "WY - B.C. Lakers Only" thread and this is what it cost him, all in good fun though. That's a MS Gulf Coast flounder...largest one I ever caught, huge, boneless, delicious filets. Yes, great eating  ;D

Ya, thanks Terry, jigging off the seawall straight down in 3 ft water, they pin the baitfish against the seawall and chow down...can you imagine that monster on 6 feet of line and surprised. woooooooo-weeee! Rodeo ! :woot:

Paddlesfish may not be the ugliest fish in the country but they certainly don't look like a walleye.

I got that one out of the Yellowstone River near Intake, Montana about 20 years ago.  It weighed 70 pounds.  It was my biggest and I was all by myself fishing the fenceline early in the morning.  When I finally got her landed, I had to drag her clear back to my truck.

As for size, it is just a nice one.  The big ones are over 100 pounds.  I still have my tackle but I don't go anymore.  It is too much work for an old fat man.

Those fish are hatchery raised and keep running into the wall.  That is what G&F told me one day when I showed them a picture of a cut with a  smashed nose
