Once again Indiana Info has challenged us to a Ice Fishing Tournament this year,I'm just trying to get a head count on how many Ice Shanty fishermen who will be here,since they lost they get to pick the Lake,keep this in mind,as soon as we get safe Ice,were gonna try and have this I believe,Asphalt Kid has been working a ton,and hasnt had time to get online,I know for sure he'll be here,lets see a hand cout of those of you who are interested,

Just keep an eye on the board,we'll have it as soon as we have some safe ice,it will be a all the sudden thing,its hard to set a date for ice fishing,weve learnt to go with the flow,keep an eye open fellows,weve had the trophy for 2 years now,and with you alls help we could keep it this year too,Indiana Info is starting to get a few fishermen,so be ready when the ice is ready.......

Well the weatherman says cold weather a commin. And my hand twitched alittle. So I got on here tonight and what did I read Pimple is warmming up the tourney....

The Braggin Rights Tourney is: Indiana Info.net challenged us(Ice Shanty)to a annual Ice Fishing outing every year,with the losers gettin to pick the body of water,since we have won this both years,they getta pick the body of water,in the past,they havent had very many show up,but since Ricos a moderator for them now,hes recruiting ice fishermen,you all keep an eye on Ice Shanty and lets go give em some more spankins this year,and Crappie 66,you better keep you're Purdue Butt on Ice Shantys side or you'll be takin a spankin like Ricos gonna do,I thought you knew better Rico?

I just wanted to let everybody know over here that I didnt turn my back on you. The Fishfinder was dead all summer so I got my fix over there. Look forward to hooking up with my fishing buddies here before and after the contest!!!!!! BTW , the bottom is supposed to drop off the thermometer...I will keep you posted as to the ice conditions here at the "honey hole"!

Hope Rico doesnt call it for his " Honey Hole" ,then brings his family. He's got some pretty strict rules over there, about killing you if you look at his wife, daughter or even look at his dog.

No worries, if I am able to make it, I will be on the iceshanty side. I tried the indianainfo site a few times and didn't care much for the layout of it, and not nearly as many people.

What is this catch and release?

I will have you know YR that I put largemouth and bluegill in it this summer. If the weatherman is right, I might be on the "honey hole" late next week!

Looks like we'll be going north to keep the trophy,I dont think they are willing to travel to far,Nothing like packing you're gear up and heading north to spank some saaaaa................ ..................

I'll try to be there if I can, I haven't had a chance to meet any of the guys and gals on the shanty.I think it will be a blast to take home the trophy three years in a row!

Most of the shanty crew is from up north anyways. North sounds good to me, but where, and please don't mention Tri County Wildlife area.

Didn't make the tourney last year, but I'm up for it this year. My first year was the Tri-County Fish and Wildlife area one. Didn't care much for the fishing there, but I got some nice shots of some Largemouth hanging around a sunken pine tree in 20 FOW with the Aqua View. That water sure was clear! Keep us posted Jimmy!
