Well technically there is 3.78 liters to a gallon, and if a liter cost $1.25 that would make a gallon of gas where you live $4.72, what ever way you look at it we are all getting screwed. I have been driving now for ten years since i am almost 26 years old, i can remember when i first started driving gas being .99cents i will never forget that, and that was not that long ago.

Gas prices suck regardless but what really P's me off is that the pumps shut off at $75 when you prepay. Then you have to hang up the hose and re-swipe your card just to fill up.  Hey Visa, it takes more than $75 to fill the average pickup.

Last time I tried that they shut me off at 50. Another thing that is really funny. Many stations have signs saying will not accept 50 or 100 dollar bills. GIVE ME A BREAK. WHEN IT TAKES 120 TO FILL UP MY TRUCK.

I understand you..i'm 47 and when i was young,we had the habbit to  took a big empty glass jar of pickles(near a gallon) and  fill it for approx 20 ¢ to soak  cattails to play with in the evening!...

I think it's imperial gallon a got, it equal==>4.54609L..because i'm able to put arround 9L easily in my two gallons can.
I was going to break a world record when the clock rang.....

I guess this is the right time to buy a house on a lake, eh?  No towing the boat, just carrying gas to it.

Oh butt it will! Just like it was back from about 2005 all the way up to the fall of 2008.You would here on the radio or news " a great day on wall street" oil prices rose once again giving investors confidence that the economy is growing .That was great for wall street, speculators, and oil comp. But what happened was it was a transfer of wealth from the middle class to the wealthy who had the resources to buy oil futures .I am not against capitalism by any means however screwing people for the gains of the classes is the new norm.Welcome to the United states of corporate America.

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is criticizing Republican efforts to cut social spending at a time when many of the Nation's largest corporations are paying nothing,or almost nothing,in Fed. Income Tax. Sanders has released a list of the 10 worst corp. tax avoiders. Exxon Mobile - Bank of America- G.E.- Chevron- Boeing- Valero Energy- Goldman Sachs- City Group - Conoco Phillips-Carnival Cruise Lines         This list looks familiar
Like I said on one of the previous posts.Welcome to the United States Of corporate America! But good news today a great day on wall street the unemployment went down to 8.8% due to the 200K+ jobs added to the economy in March .Most of those jobs were in the service sector .WOW!!!!!! those are some good paying jobs that those people who were living such a lavish lifestyle on unemployment can now pay more for gas because now that they are employed they can pay even more for gas and our demand for crude is going to rise!
