Vexilar question
«

I just bought a used FLX 28 off of eBay.
It looks pristine and I'm happy so far.
I have a return window. I can't really get to water to check it out.
1. Is it ok to turn the critter on with the transducer just sitting on the table? ( Probably a dumb question but there you go ❤️)
2. What should I look for short of driving really long ways to water to test it?
I appreciate your help.

You can turn it on for a short time and not have it in the water.
Id check cables, connections, ports, knobs etc. for damage or normal wear and tear.
