Townsend resovoir, Table 2 says: perch,crappie, smelt, pike,walleye,suckers and such (not that all of these are in there) are fair game thru the ice. Closed to trout fishing thru ice though.  ;D
If the women don't find ya handsome, they should at least find ya handy !  Fish on, gotta go ..........!!!

I've fished it open water and caught big fall fish, recent stocked rainbows, and some big yellow perch.  Theres a few smallmouth in there.  I remember being annoyed that my boat kepts getting tsuck on sand bars.  It's basically a dam on the West River that's filling in with sediment and fast.

i found a honey hole a few miles up from the dam where a budd and i were catching some nice 18" or better rainbows. all stockys but good eating at that. never hit it through the ice though. good luck to anyone who trys
