What kinda species of fish do you have cause I know that lake isn't very deep at all. Also what kinda species do you do best on in #'s and in size.

my lake has an good average of 12 inch crappie, nice 10-12 inch redears and a few big bass.  i target walleye at most lakes i fish.  if the lake doesn't have walleye then i will try for anything.  but walleye is my main goal at many lakes.  i have fished houghton and am not impressed with the quality and quantity of fish.  too many people are on that lake.  i have never found good fishing on that lake, maybe i don't know where to go, but i have moved around on that lake many times and have had very little success.
