Night bite
« on: Mar 09, 2015, 09:55 AM »
Got out a bit late yesterday afternoon   Had some honey do's to take care of    Anyway guys were packing up shortly after I got there and by dark I was the only guy on the ice.    I was about to pack it up and the gills got pretty active.  Had a great time.  Nice limit.  One good crappie.   Left the ice about 9:45.

i run into that all of the time. the fish don't care if the sun sat. some nights are much better than others. they eat plankton. i watch them on the sonar swimming quickly thru it vertically.
was out til 12:30am day before and left at 10:30pm last night because they shut down. if you wait about an hour or less, they start back in again, off and on they cycle.
