Went home yesterday and decided to check out some ice in area lakes. Went to Willard Meyer, aka swan creek, and it had about 2.5-3" of ice on the main lake and 3-4" in most areas on the north arm. The lake is way down so most of the water on the north arm is 2' deep. Found a couple areas that had 4-5' FOW but didn't mark any fish with the ice machine. I'll be checking it out again on new years and I'll let everyone know how it goes.
I also went to Lone Star, but didn't have a truck to get in. The entry way had some big drifts and I didn't really feel like getting stuck. If anyone's been out there let me know!
