I can see it now. Shot gun starts for ice fishing tournaments. Rangers with 250's ripping from spot to spot. Na on second thought that would be rediculous.

I have a similar type setup that has been on the backburner for a couple years. It needs a new 5 or 6 hp engine and some other minor details to be finished. It may need a jack shaft to increase torque but I want to try it as is first.
I plan to use it on a 10ft jon boat that will have 2 runners made from UHMW on the underside.

my wheels are turning now.  i am now thinking about a "sled" with skis and something like that out back with a couple seats.

if he can run that jon boat around like that ,  i am thinking what i might do it should fly.  hehehe
