Me and a couple guys from work went out tipup fishing on Sunday. Had a lot of flags but they pretty much hit it and then that was it.. Had about 15 flags total in about 4 1/2 hrs.. By the end we managed 4 northern and 1 bass so we didnt get skunked.. My buddies little son austin caught his 1st northern on a tipup so that was a nice way to start the day!! here are few pics.. the crappie pic isnt from the same day and they werent overly huge all around 10-10 1/2 inches.. but made a nice meal for the family
Austin with his first fish on a tip up
Austin pulling up his first fish on tip up
some crappies caught out of my house
it was a snowy day but the temp was nice...

Man, I sure do miss living in Minnesota!!! We don't even have fishable ice here in Northwest Indiana!! Had about 4" in December, but everything melted in the January thaw. Most lakes still had open water this morning, -3 degrees last night, but to much wind. Going to have to make a road trip to get my ice-fishing fix!!! C-ya. Crappie Rob. P.S. Does anyone know the whereabouts of one Mike O'neill a.k.a. BUMMER from Oakdale area?
