A railroad bar that my grandfather used as a maintenance of way worker for the D&H railway. It was more a loss of memories than money value. We were young, had no auger and using a poulan chain saw to cut the ice.Spud bar use of the bar was a bit reckless I can still see it slip through the gloved hands to the lakes bottom.A couple of real rookies making a mess on the ice.18 degrees, spray from the saw was entertaining us at best.Recently gave away the chain saw.But i'm smiling as I recall the day.Wonder if we scared any fish?
