fishing Schroon Lake

Good evening Men, I was thinking of going to Schroon lake this Sat. Does anyone know hows the ice and hows the fishing? What are they fishing with, bait-wise.  Thanks for the info.

According to the reports and conditions, Schroon is not completly covered with ice, they are fishing the north end of the lake, with good ice. Thanks for all your help and I really like this site.
