I fished November 27th this year and a few other times and have yet to land a legal walleye.

Braved the weather this evening, and fortune rewards the bold

This lady came on a tip up as we were about to pick up. I watched the spool for about 4-5 minutes and saw it spin twice....I figured it was a small walleye or it was working on swallowing the minnow as I was using big like minnows... After 5 minutes I pulled in about 5 feet before I felt resistance and set the hook. That's one thing iv learned with walleyes is if you don't see that spool spinning, give them a little time

This is my third fish in the last 12 months this size, I'm really working on trying to beat it, iv told myself for the past few years I need at least a 14lber to get one mounted.... And they get caught every year where I fish....just by my friends hahaha

that is insane you definitely have the big girls dialed in, im sure you will hit that 14 # mark. congrats that is an insane fish
