Lake Onalaska.
Head to the north end of Lakeshore Dr., to Nelson Park. Follow the tracks to the east from there, which will take you to the woods. (You can't stay on the ice because of open water at the north end of the woods.) Go through the woods, and back onto the lake. Head over toward the airport lights. Look on google maps, you can see weed beds on both sides of the lights. Fish in that general area. Drill lots of holes til you find the perch. That's what we did last year, and it worked. You're on your own as far as ice conditions.
