And congratulations Steve on the new addition I forgot to add that to the last post.
Sorry IFF that your truck is still down, cannot believe that the shop changed the motor and had the same issue. I had my 7.3 replaced and they had a few snags along the way but it was more hydraulic line plugs and frying things along those lines that then needed replaced. But runs like a top, having issues with my brake boost right now that was replaced with the engine, the first one blew out the first summer of driving it less than 500 miles so this is the second one and only lasted a few years and about 15000 miles, I drive the truck a little bit a year, mainly hunting and fishing. The original one lasted 200000+ miles.
Well yesterday was good fished another spot and caught a trout that busted my line on my jigging rod with the favorite lure, that sucked, and had several flags and lost minnows but did manage to pick a couple up. Picked up a little early as the boy wanted to go home but it was still 630 at night and caught the last walleye while getting everything ready to pick up. Morning IW, everyone,

Had a nice Christmas yesterday despite most everyone around here having the sniffles   ::) My d-I-l’s mom and brother are coming for brunch this morning, then we’re heading back home.

Hope you all had a very merry Christmas and enjoyed time with family/friends.

Almost forgot, when I took the dog out yesterday morning we came face to face with this guy

   Foggy start here as well this am, 31* with a high of 44 today.

  We had a nice Christmas together here yesterday, Santa seemed to please everyone with their gifts.   ;D.   Like Wally, a few people had the sniffles here also. I wore a mask again all day as requested by my Dr. for all it’s worth.
  Now on to getting out of 2023 and hoping for a better New Year….with some ice soon!!   :icefish:   Cawfee’s on…

Christmas went well. We had Rocky for 2 nights. Lindsay and her friend came for dinner , then we played Mexican Train. It will be nice to get back to "normal".

Good morning. Fisher-45 I sure hope so. But I fear the puzzle will not be solved today but keeping my fingers crossed.  Hope the mechanic is in a good mood.

Frosty 32 and chill at 21. Which is colder than southern Wisconsin  ::) :o

Wow first time finding myself in this situation as I might run out of minnows to sell. I have a couple people that want some and depends on how many they want I might be out today as I have a buddy coming for 3 to 5 dozen in the morning that I am keeping for him. What a week and I guess I miss judged the minnow business this year and should have ordered the other box of minnows when I could have, now have to wait until the 5th of January to restock but then everyone will do that as well so we will see how it keeps going in the next month or so.
Glad everyone had a wonderful Christmas with family and hope all the sniffles and such go away as we have had some family that have been sick since they arrived as well. Have a great Tuesday everyone.

I have a 2002 f250 with the 7.3 diesel that I replaced the motor I think it was around 220000 miles on it. One of the rare manual transmission as well. My kids say learning to drive stinks with all our vehicles that we have are manual transmissions. I think it sucks that you cannot get a manual transmission in trucks anymore just some of the suv's and cars. I had a line on another 7.3 diesel that only had 69000 miles on it but they still have not sold it the last time I talked to them.
