aqua-vu problem i need some advice!!!!
« on: Jan 18, 2011, 07:15 PM »
hey all,  I have been having problems with my aqua-vu staying on or sometimes even comming on when i press the powere button.  and sometimes when it shifts on the ice or gets bumped by the shelter or a foot or something it gets a jumbled or messed up screen.

I opend the battery casing up and noticed that the positive wire lead had a few highly worn areas at the bends, and that there were actually wear marks with the copper wire exosed.

Could this be the reason for the power and screen problems?

Here are some pics.

here is the end of the positive terminal that i can take off to get tot hte fuse.  Does anyone know where i can get one of these to replace this one.

Most NAPA or other Auto shops will carry them, take that half along and they can match it up for you.  Frayed and loose wires are not good.
