Absolutely! Thank you, keeping I've anglers mobile, saving energy, and I appreciate you doing the good lords work. Mine fabricated sled isn't quite your design at all, but a sled on skid pull easier in deep snow and glides past on clean ice. Ice fishermen are innovative, creative, survivors, and above all else darn good folk.

God bless

Thank you Smitty for a true ice fishing "game changer". Just put new skis on mine. Actually went to a ski shop to have mine "tuned up" but the guy said they were too far gone to do anything with...scratches, etc. So he went in the back and brought me 2 used pair that he said he could no longer sell. Excellent shape as far as I can see.

Other than avoiding dragging across rough surfaces, is there a protective treatment I can put on my Smitty ski's

You can apply a multitude of different waxes and finishes that will make the skies slicker but they all wear off fairly quickly.

I tend to play w/ weight & dynamics of hauling. Made this one last week. Waterproof Canvas & expanded aluminum. Steel from Tractor Supply trash pile out back. I’ll add a thin floor so it will be a wind break when stood on end. Pushes like a breeze.
