bag for portables
« on: Dec 05, 2011, 09:03 AM »
i noticed alot of guys complaining about how the bags for portables are always too small to get your shelter back in. try using a cheap nylon aftermarket military duffel bag. theyre nice and big and also have shoulder straps to carry your shelter on your back. i have 2 of them from when i was in the sevice and they work great. can get them pretty cheap in the sportsmans guide or any army/navy store. just figured id pass that on.

I use an insulated cooler bag. The insulation does double duty - it acts as padding while keeping my flasher from freezing. With the shoulder strap I can move it around easily as well.
My 2 cents,
Glen
