Anyone ice fish with a spoon

more often than not.  jigging spoons and flash flutter spoons will catch all species.  tip with some meat but not enough to hinder the action of the spoon.

Actually the good old 5 of diamonds works well using different sizes for various size of species. Minnow head for bait seems to work as good as anything.

Spoons are a good option for any of the fish species we catch through the ice. :tipup:
There are lots of varieties of spoons to choose from with lots of different actions.

Tipping spoons with a whole or half minnow should work as well as fish parts or with maggots, wax worms, meal worms, etc.
Tiny artificial soft lures like gulp or gulp alive is another tipping option that works.

If you find that tipping still affects the action of the spoon you could also us spray on or gel scents.
