Beat the storm
« on: Jan 15, 2019, 05:13 PM »
Sunday’s forecast does not look good.  I am definitely fishing Sat. befor we get the snow.  Of course I will likely fish Sunday and any other day I can afterwards.

Monday looks cold.  It will be a shame to have the snow there to insulate the ice.

High winds for Sunday may help lessen the snow accumulation on ice.
I fish on days that end in y! Best of luck.

Arctic cold and heavy wet snow do not seem to go together, but hey weatherman can hardly tell us whats going to happen tomorrow. We're 4 day's out, trying to be optimistic not Pessimistic here...

With the temperatures what they are predicting, I was assuming by "heavy", they meant it would be snowing heavily. Not the water content.

This. The temps almost guarantee it will be fluff. Hopefully to blow off.

  • Rather be judged by 12 then carried by 6.
