Haven't seen a post from here this season yet. Was wondering if anyone has been out and caught anything larger than 7 inches?

I heard of large numbers but very few over 7. While on topic has anyone tried dangling a sucker on a harness down around some balls of shad to maybe hook up on a muskie.

Where do you access the lake? Only place I have been there is at the public boat ramp.

That is where. There is another place you can launch private property guy charges 1 dollar to park. There is room for a few vehicles. Just around the bend on small side of lake. Across from Hide-a-way. Did the bait shop ever reopen???

not the one across from ramp. but did see this summer over in that trailer park there was a sign out in front of one of the trailers that said live bait or something along the lines of bait. don't remember which trailer it was and the sign is pretty small.

Theres gotta be a way to get on some bigger crappie.

They are there countryboy just like in basslake, but the numbers have to be down because catching any numbers of large crappie is a thing of the past out of the two.
